national and international Sixth Declaration
To the national and international alternative
media of the Sixth Declaration
To the people of Mexico and the world.
WE PUBLICLY DENOUNCE.
This act began on
Friday, July 25th, 2014. We did not want to make it public, due to
the exchange which was realized in La Realidad Caracol on August 4th
through 9th, in order to not obstruct that great exchange between
the native peoples of this country.
We only brought it to
the knowledge of the Fray Bartolome de las Casas Chiapas human rights.
But since those
provocations continue and these are the facts.
1. A group of 19
people, from the town Pojkol Municipality of Chilón from the organization
ORCAO, from the Chiquinaval neighborhood. We mention some names of those
people, they are Andres Gutierrez Guillen, Andres Gutierrez de Meza, Eliceo
Ruiz Gutierrez, Guillermo Perez Guillen, Vidal Gutierrez Gomez y Juan Ruiz
Gutierrez, these last two names are those who have trucks which transport the
people. They arrived to the village San Jacinto of the Zapatista support base
compañeros, in the Autonomous Municipality of San Manuel of La Garrucha
Caracol.
At 6 in the morning,
on July 25th, they arrived armed they took the recovered land,
firing into the air.
They destroyed the
sign that we have placed about the murder of compañero Galeano.
They installed their roofs
doing that they are going to stay there. All hours they were threatening
verbally with shouts to our support base compañeros and compañeras. Since other
villages of Zapatista support base compañeros are close there, the villages El
Egipto and El Rosario, they were there to threaten shouting that they are going
to displace them and they returned to where their roofs are. On the morning of
July 26th, at 1:30 in the morning they left.
2.- On July 30th
they again entered at 6 in the morning, entering they fumigated a 3 hectare
pasture with a substance that we do not know what it is, and it is there where
the cattle collective of the San Manuel Municipality is, those with most
animals they went to herd to take them where they have it fumigated for the
animals to eat the fumigated pasture.
They wounded a young
bull with a knife, almost near the horn where the place to kill is. They left a
writing on the land, with the reading “Territorio Pojkol” in the middle of this
land they left the caps burned in the form of a cross, of a 22-calibre cartridge
and 20-calibre for rifles.
At 4 in the afternoon
they left.
3.-On August 1st
at 11:30 at night, they again entered, always armed the same ones from Pojkol,
from the Santiago neighborhood, which we mention some names of those persons
they are Bersain Gutierrez Gomez, Victor Gutierrez Gomez, Valdemar Gutierrez
Gomez, Romeo Gutierrez Gomez, they entered again in the same place. That is in
San Jacinto. Those paramilitaries killed a young bull, while the others fire
into the air and turn toward the Zapatista village El Egipto all with lamps
in-hand, that is why the compañeros organized and the compañeras left, boys and
girls at 12:30 in the morning in another Zapatista village which up to know
they are still there.
Those who killed the
bull, arrived on 2 motorcycles, 4 people and carried pure meat, they left the
bones.
4.- On August 6th,
at 7:30 in the morning the same ones from Pojkol, came with 2 Nissan trucks,
with 15 people with a chainsaw, arriving they fired and cut-down a large tree,
when the tree fell they began to shoot into the air, like so threatening so
that no one comes to see them and upon leaving they again fired in the
afternoon.
Upon passing the
village of support base compañeros El Rosario 5 shots were done. Once again
upon passing the village of support base compañero the village El Kexil they
fired 2 shots on the roof of one of our support base compañero’s house, they
fired from inside the vehicle of the Nissans they turned toward the village
Pojkol.
5.- On Thursday, August
14th, at 4:50 in the morning 18 people arrived the same ones from
Pojkol, armed, belonging to ORCAO, they surrounded the village of the
compañeros from San Jacinto.
They fired with
weapons of different calibers, the gunshots arrived in the wall of the houses,
in the roofs of the houses, and the compañeras and compañeros were sleeping
there and in that same hour the compañeras and compañeros had to leave in the
morning to seek refuge in the other Zapatista village, leaving everything, they
only carried what they were wearing.
It is like this how
they avoided not being massacred, murdered like in Acteal.
Upon leaving the
compañeras and compañeros only heard, how the wreckage that those
paramilitaries were doing sounded.
As of today we know
that:
5 houses, are
torn-down, the laminate picked at by machetes, there are 50 laminate sheets.
7 zontes of corn and
130 kilograms of corn grain stolen.
Where is the peace
that Peña Nieto talks about so much? This is the peace that Manuel Velasco
talks of? And if this happened to the Municipal President of Ocosingo, Octavio
Albores, what they are doing to the Zapatista compañeras and compañeros, does
he think that this is peace?
May they think if they
want peace. Because they are responsible for everything that can happen or is
going to happen.
If they are the
governments that they say they are, why do they not control those
paramilitaries from Pojkol from the Chiquinival neighborhood from the Chilón
Municipality?
It does not control
them because they are the ones who finance, organize, and execute those attacks
against us.
We say to the
governments and the paramilitaries, which are of blood, bones, and flesh, just
as us, only that we are not drug addicts, like those paramilitaries and you. We
tell you don’t manipulate people, don’t pay thugs, don’t spend money to make
the poor’s life worse which already is in fact.
We in truth want
peace, if there is no peace we will struggle until there is peace.
We do not sell out, do
not give up, do not give in.
We are organized for a
just and dignified peace. You 3 levels of evil government, do not want peace,
we know that you do not regret, but you will be condemned by the poor people of
Mexico and we are with them.
So compañeras and
compañeros of Mexico and the world, it is necessary to be alert, those savages against
us come and we will be alert.
This is our
denunciation.
