RvsR: Palestine On Our Lips

RvsR: Palestine On Our Lips
Palestine again is on our lips, Gaza again pains us. Beginning two weeks ago the Zionist State of Israel has intensified its act of extermination against the Palestinian population. In Nablus, in Ramalla, in Jerusalem the native inhabitants of Palestine are pursued, detained, and attacked, indiscriminately. In Gaza the Israeli bombardments have not stopped, criminal bombardments intentionally directed at the population. Yes, Israeli Zionism is a conscious crime against another human being, against another people; together with Nazism, Zionism is an example of a crime against life, that is, in all senses, an act of genocide.
We know what has been happening for decades in Palestine, those who are unaware of it, we will tell you, for example, to imagine a boy with his father walking through the street and that this father and this boy are surrounded by Israeli soldiers and that the soldiers shoot without an apparent motive (except that of being just Palestinians) and that the father tries to defend his boy from bullets but the bullets get to his boy and the father’s impotence is an immense scream, an immense cry over the little one’s body. The boy has a name: Muhammad al-Durrah; the father’s is Yamal Al-Dura. Let us imagine a primary school and in this school there is a girl. The girl studies her lesson, attent, but the lesson is interrupted by a bullet from an Israeli soldier which, not by accident, with all intention, ends up in the little one’s head. The girl’s name is Raghda Alassar. Let us imagine a boy who is going to visit his grandfather, barely five minutes from his house. There is no apparent danger: there are no tanks nor Israeli army in appearance. The child hurries, nonetheless, close to the market he falls. He just fell. There were snipers around. His mother with surprise finds out. She does not believe that he is dead. She carries him and does not believe that he is dead but the child’s body is immobile and he has a bullet in his groin and in his chest another. The boy’s name is Munir al-Daqas, his mother, Kifah.
In the last few days the names of the following boys and girls murdered in Gaza by the Israeli army during the recent bombardments have been publicized: Seraj Ayad Abed al-A’al, eight years-old; Mohammed Ayman Ashour, fifteen years-old, Hussein Yousef Kawareh, thirteen years-old, Bassim Salim Kawareh, ten years-old, Mousa Habib, sixteen years-old, Ahmad Na’el Mehdi, sixteen years-old, Dunia Mehdi Hamad, sixteen years-old, Amir Areef, thirteen years-old, Mohammed Malkiyeh, a year and a half old, Ibrahim Masri, fourteen years-old, Mohammed Khalaf al-Nawasra, four years-old, he arrived to the hospital “in pieces”; Nidal Khalaf al-Nawasra, age not reported, Ranim Jawde Abdel Ghafour, age not reported, Maryam Atieh Muhammad al-Arja, eleven years-old; Abdullah Ramadán Abu Ghazzal, five years-old; Yasmin Mohammed al-Mutawwaq, four years-old. The number increases daily.
The Israeli State does not feel remorse, the Zionist Israeli State knows that among the death there are children and they too have to die. They are conscious of their crimes. Hatred of the other rules them. It is enough to remember the words of that Prime Minister of Israel named Menarche Begin, who very well synthesized what Zionism is: “We are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects… Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races.” Nonetheless the Palestinian people (that is their affront and of that they are guilty) reminds you that there is no supremacy of one human over another, of one people over another; that in the face of the intent of human humiliation, there is dignity, in the face of hate, contempt, and death, there is life, resistance, and as our Zapatista compañeras and compañeros have expressed very well, Dignified Rage.
From Mexico, from the various corners of Mexico in which the Network Against Repression and Solidarity is, we express our solidarity with the people, with the dignified Palestinian people. We unite our Dignified Rage to theirs, our voice is enraged with theirs; Palestine pains us, Gaza pains us, and we scream from these lands to Zionism: Palestine will resist!
